Accessibility
We want every athlete to be able to use this site, including people who use screen readers, keyboards, magnification, or other assistive technology. Our goal is to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at Level AA.
What we've done
- Every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with visible focus outlines and a "Skip to content" link.
- Images have text descriptions, and decorative images are hidden from screen readers.
- Text and buttons meet WCAG color contrast requirements.
- Form fields have visible labels, optional fields are marked "(optional)", and errors are described in text, not just color.
- Animations can be paused with the "Pause animations" button at the top of every page (press Tab twice after the page loads) and in the footer. If your device is set to reduce motion, the site turns off most animation automatically.
- We test pages with automated accessibility tools and by hand with a keyboard.
Known limitations
- The training camp waiver is a PDF. If it's hard to use with your assistive technology, email us and we'll send it in another format.
- Some links go to other websites, like Instagram and Venmo, whose accessibility we don't control.
